On November 12th, in occasion of the opening ceremony, our panelists will address all the participants and highlight the key hurdles of carbon neutrality they will have to keep in mind throughout the challenge and will provide the motivation needed to produce disruptive and effective ideas.

Clementine Fischer
Head of ESG Integration and
philanthropy
Clementine Fischer is the current head of ESG integration and philanthropy at AXA, focusing on the issue of extra-financial reporting, digital sustainability and responsible procurement among other activities.
Her unique managerial position in one of the European largest insurers provides her with a deep understanding of carbon neutrality from a business perspective and of the main actions that should be undertaken to mitigate and prevent risks deriving from a high-emission world.
Mrs Fisher holds two masters’ degree, one Finance at the European Business School and an executive one in CSR and sustainable development at the Ecole des Mines of Paris.

Carlo Monticelli

Carlo Monticelli has been Vice-Governor of the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) since November 2015. In June 2021 he was appointed Governor, taking office December 18, 2021. Before joining the CEB, he served for more than a decade at the Italian Treasury, representing Italy in a wide spectrum of international fora and institutions.
In his capacity as Head of International Financial Relations, he was for many years Alternate Governor for Italy at the World Bank, the Asian and the African Development Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and served on the Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank.
Dr Monticelli, holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Ancona, a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of York, and has carried out post graduate studies at Oxford University.

Mariana Mirabile

Mariana is an economist with a passion to improve systems based at the OECD Environment Directorate. She is also a partner of Systems Innovation, a community of systems innovators. Mariana has over 10 years of experience in policy analysis on climate change, and an expertise on economics, communication, and systems change. At the OECD, Mariana is working on the development of the well-being lens, a process to help countries prioritise transformational policies to transition to net-zero systems. Before joining the OECD, Mariana has worked at the World Food Programme supporting the implementation of school feeding programs in developing countries.
Miriana holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Roma, La Sapeinza

Cécile Maisonneuve

Cécile Maisonneuve is Senior Fellow at the Institut Montaigne, focusing on cities, energy and environmental issues. She is also an advisor to the Climate & Energy Centre of the French Institute for International Relations (IFRI). She teaches at Sciences Po Paris and is a columnist for French weekly L'Express on the ecological transition. A lecturer to companies and international organisations, she is a director of La Française de l'Energie and a member of the SNCF's stakeholder committee.
From 2015 to 2021, she chaired La Fabrique de la Cité, a think tank for innovation and urban foresight supported by the VINCI group. From 2017 to 2021, she worked with the French Energy Market regulator (CRE). A senior civil servant at the French National Assembly (1997-2007), she was head of foresight and then deputy director in charge of international public affairs at AREVA (2007-2012), before heading IFRI's Energy Centre (2013-2014).
Cécile Maisonneuve graduated from École Normale Supérieure, University of Paris IV-Sorbonne, and Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris. She writes on energy, mobility, geopolitical and urban issues, and is the author of a biography of Benjamin Franklin.
